And this black vinyl carrying case is so slick, you might want it for a handbag. Two silver, briefcase-like locks secure it; there's a luggage tag for identification and a strong handle for easy carrying. Inside, canvas pockets hold up to 16 knives or other must-have tools in place. It measures 20-1/2 inches long (to fit the lengthiest French knife and steel), 8 inches high, and 3 inches deep. I've had my knife case for almost 12 years now, and it still keeps up with the abuse that comes with my profession as a chef. It was given to me by the knife sharpening guy as a thank you gift for the business, i had given him. Day in night out, it has been reliable, and worn well (even though it looks as good now as it did then)This case keeps my babies, (yes i said babies) save and sound, everyone has become accustomed to seeing me with my knife bag, where i go, they go, and even though i've had my henckel 4 stars for much longer, the case still gives them the ohhhs and awwes, from being protected. This is a must for the serious.

My daughter purchased the knife case for my birthday. I am an avid saltwater fisherman and, as such, need an assortment of knives, cleaning tools,and sharpening steels. I have many different shapes and sizes. This case is absolutely the best. It is designed wisely and is constructed very well. I thoroughly recommend it.Steve Robertson

Great case with plenty of room for assorted knives. I doubt I will ever use the lock but the latches keep the case closed well. The case looks much better than the picture.

We ordered it on a Saturday night very late, it came by Tuesday afternoon. Very fast shipping!
The case is cool. It has lots of holders for knives. The holders each have an elastic band to hold knives in - the elastic is VERY tight to hold the knives in so they won't dislodge during travel - a very good thing. Looks nice, very professional.
All in all, excellent product.
