Wonderful, Wonderful set of Knives! November 29, 2007 David Nichols (Seattle, WA USA) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
I purchased a set of these knives with the block at a demonstration at the Puyallup fair in Washington State and I can happily say these knives are by far the best I've ever own! I got a set for me and my girlfriend and she absolutely loves them!! In fact, when it comes to food preparation, I'm the one that tells her to let all the food cutting to me because I really like using them. I'm so impressed with these knives that I am going to buy a set of them for my parents because the knives they own have to constantly be sharpened while these knives NEVER need to be sharpened!
THE BEST May 20, 2008 stormie (Ohio) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I received this knife set as a gift a month or so ago. They are the best I've ever used. The handles fit well in my hand, and I love the curved, serrated blades. I use from one to several pieces every day! I recommend this set to anyone who is wanting to purchase a knife/block set. *They are NOT dishwasher safe, however. You will need to wash these by hand.
Use no other knives! January 4, 2007 John Kirton (Dallas) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have owned my set of Miracle Blade III knives for over 2 years now and they have NEVER dulled! I use one of the smaller knives as a utility knife in the kitchen to open both packages and to cut small vegetables and the other knives for their designed purpose. When I go to someone else's house, it is still so frustrating to use their knives, which do not perform as well as my own! A must for anyone who cooks! I have given an extra knife I had as a gift!
The only knives for me! July 10, 2007 M. Molstad (ND) I have been using these knives every day for over 3 years. If you like to slice and dice your owns meals this is the only set you will ever need. I love the flat chopping blade and the balance on these knives are wonderful. The gripe on the handle is great no matter the use. Protect your investment, store your knives in a Miracle Blade Butcher Block, hand wash them so the don't rub up against other knives or silverware. If you know anything about stainless steel then you know it's not rust resistant, and the way you store and wash them is the most important thing. The stainless steel surface has a protective layer of minimum of 10.5% chromium content. The chromium forms a passivation layer of chromium(III) oxide (Cr2O3) when exposed to oxygen. The layer is too thin to be visible, meaning the metal remains lustrous. It is, however, impervious to water and air, protecting the metal beneath. Also, this layer quickly reforms when the surface is scratched. Stainless Steel, the name originates from the fact that stainless steel does not stain, corrode or rust as EASILY as ordinary steel. This material is also called corrosion resistant steel when it is not detailed exactly to its alloy type and grade, particularly in the aviation industry. As such, there are now different and easily accessible grades and surface finishes of stainless steel, to suit the "environment" to which the material will be subjected in its lifetime. The information on Stainless steel came from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
great knives November 16, 2008 lynn (somewhere in georgia) I've been using my set of knives for more than 3 years and always put them in the dishwasher. They show no sign of rust and are still very sharp. I'm now ordering them as a gift.
