I loved this Biddeford throw! it lasted more than 4 years so then I needed to buy a new throw to replace it so found a sunbeam throw at Walmart. It lasted only one winter so I comtacted Sunbeam they told me I had to ship it back to them at my own expense that was not refundable and they would decide if they could replace it. I even sent the reciept to them and asked them to pay shipping charges but they refused. They also said I could not take it back to the store that I purchased it from. Why should the consumer pay to ship defective merchandise to a company that would only replace it at their discretion and not even refund your shipping charges! The next throw I buy will be a Biddeford throw!!!

This blanket warms up quickly and is very soft and comfy. My only reqret is that I saw it at Big Lots for half the price after I'd already received and used mine!

I hadn't had time to try out my new blanket when the power went out for 5 days because of a gigantic ice storm. When it came back on, I plugged it in and it is the most wonderful, comfortable item I have ever purchased.
I had an expensive sunbeam blanket which was supposed to just warm where your body was or something like that. It only warmed where my feet were and then only barely. And it cost $60 or more. This heats all over and you can crank it up or turn it way down to just a whisper. If you have arthritus, it will make your body happy all over. Its supposed to be a throw but it is on my bed. Definitely a 5 star plus purchase

I enjoy the throw very much, but the auto turn off doesn't work on mine. You also have to be careful with the controller as the spin dial moves very easily and can change your temperature setting.
