Two thumbs up! May 12, 2008 Drunk On The Wind (Out cycling- plz leave msg.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Not exactly loud, but it does everything I want it to do- tell the time, play the morning news radio program I listen to (NPR). Does that just fine, and it's water resistant. Works like a charm. Suction cups really hold the radio securely to the wall, and there's no real chance of slipping, unless you're doing some tricky wall climbing using the radio as a handhold. Batteries last a long time. Nicely done!
Great product for the price! October 26, 2007 J. Sanchez (MD) 18 out of 18 found this review helpful
I was kinda skeptical of buying this item for only $10 especially after reading so many bad reviews for shower radios out there. Fortunately I was pleasantly surprised! It has everything it's advertised to do. I have it hanging in my shower for the past week it's pretty sturdy with the included suction cups. The trick is to wet the cups with water to maximize sticking power. It also has a built-in stand allowing you to rest it on something if you choose. The radio gets surprisingly loud and clear, allowing me to hear it over the water. Only gets FM signals but that's what I wanted anyway. Having a clock in the shower keeps me on time in the morning as well. Radio dial remains on the same station as when I last turned it off. Not a whole lot of water splashes on it, but when it does it keeps right on ticking! Only thing I didn't care for was the metal extendable antenna since I'm afraid it's going to rust eventually. A plastic coated one would have been ideal. It takes 3 AAA batteries and needs a small screwdriver to close the battery cover to make it water tight and sealed. Probably the best budget shower radio out there!
Great for a shower radio. November 22, 2007 Maria (Eastern Coast) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is a great price for a shower radio. If you are looking for a cheap shower radio that actually works, is actually water resistant, and that sounds good then get this one for sure. Im glad I spent the money for it. Its great! Certainly much better than I thought it was going to be.
This radio works great October 18, 2007 Amber E. Shoemaker (Iowa, USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I have the radio hanging in my shower. I get great signal and can listen to the stations I want. It gets loud enough and I don't have to worry about it getting wet it has been working great.
Exactly what you pay for! February 6, 2008 W. Surrey (LA, California) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It's cheap, looks cheap, only gets FM, has a metal antenna, and is tricky to tune. It costs under $10, sticks well to the shower wall, has a cheap clock built in, and doesn't eat batteries. I'd buy it again, and am enjoying my tunes in the shower!
