Love it so I bought two! December 22, 2007 Robert J. Talbot (NY) The alarm clock is very readable in day light and night. You can select colors for the LCD, which is like 40 different colors or just have it on auto color change mode and it cycles through all of them. This clock is nice and is not to big or small. It offers so much and it don't have that annoying alarm clock sound like most alarm clocks have when they go off. It has a nice buzzing sound to it and its very enjoyable when you wake up out of a sleep. I bought one and after my experience with it. I went and bought my father one for a Christmas present.
Good Alarm Clock, but watch out for new DST March 11, 2007 Travis (Cincinnati, Ohio) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I like this alarm clock, but there are several problems. With batteries that I know are good, the time still resets when there is a brown out and we lose power. Also, its designed to automatically update for the old daylight savings time, so you now have to set four times a year (twice for the actual daylight savings time, and twice to correct it when it changes for twice the old daylight savings time). I have no problem with the new daylight savings time, since its on the news, and I get memos about it at work, but the old daylight savings time I will never remember and will not be on time. If timex has updated this clock, then its a good purchase, if not avoid it. The radio reception is also pretty bad, but I dont use that often.
Second one I've bought November 4, 2007 Debra Bennett (Mesa, AZ) I bought one of these and then my 18 year old nephew saw it and had to have one so I bought one for him. The only thing is, we live in AZ where we don't participate in daylight savings time and the clock automatically sets itself to participate, meaning once a year we're an hour early for church and once a year we're an hour late. Other than that we really like it.
a bargain at 19.99 March 4, 2008 Ben Y. Johnson (Los Angeles) this clock has functioned fine for me, i bought it at a local store and felt like it deserved a decent review, the buzzer is quiet, but buzzers never wake me up anyways. I recommend if you're a deep sleeper use a radio at max volume, the aux input makes this thing a steal at 19.99!
Timex Dual Alarm Clock Radio May 12, 2007 Gordon M. Long (Alhambra, CA, USA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
1 The day light time feature needs improving. The day light time feature makes the alarm clock undependable. 2 The date, day, DST, and time feature is excellent. 3 The MP3 player optional input is excellent. I use the clock radio to listen to my MP3 plsyer and for the date, day, DST, and time.
