Great Quality Working Well on Year 2! Update now 3yrs! December 3, 2007 kindred spirit (God's Country) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I bought 4 of these last year and have used them all year. I added 5 more this year so all windows have them. It is great that they come on at dusk and off at dawn. I get about 2 months running on the 2 C batteries (non-alk). The person who said she got them at Target and they are dim is mistaken. These are not the same ones. I too saw the Target ones and they look like this but are junk. These have a 2 year warranty...what has that these days? My LCD HDTV only has 1 year parts and 90 days labor, it cost a lot more than this candle. Give these a try you will not be disappointed. They look like real fire. They are not white lights..they are the true yellow/orange of a flame. Update: on 3rd year still just as good as new.
Beautiful candlelight July 23, 2006 Verdie Lou M. Bell (Crystal Coast, North Carolina) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is just what is needed for that romantic candlelight evening without the mess and hazard of real candles. The glow is soft and mellow, exactly like a candle. I also use it as a nice soft nightlight for my bathroom.
Wonderful candles... December 22, 2008 Ocean6irl (NE Ohio) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I recently purchased these candles after looking around and comparing for awhile. I have a dozen of them in the windows throughout my home. I love them. Mine have 3 settings, off, flickering and steady on. I use the flicker and they look great from inside the house and outside. The sensors seem to work well. I happen to like the orangish glow that they give as opposed to the white you see in other candles. They also make a great nightlight, as I have them in the windows of all our bedrooms. I wasn't sure how I was going to like the non-replaceable lightbulb, but the LED is nice. I am especially liking the battery power instead of the electric cord. The other candles I had were from Bethlehem lights and they didn't work from the day I got them. These were a much better investment. I would HIGHLY recommend these to anyone looking for low maintenance candles for you homes windows!
candle- January 10, 2007 S. Willis These battery operated candles are lovely. They came on when it got dark and went off when it got light again. We had lots of compliments about them.
Candle in the Window. December 10, 2007 PJK (Huntington Beach, Ca United States) I love these window candles. I got 2 for me and then when I saw how well they worked and how nice they look, I ordered some for gifts. As far as what some people mentioned about the color of the "flame," I believe the warm tone is more realistic looking than if the light were to be white. It's supposed to have an orange look if it's supposed to be a candle flame because it's supposed to look like fire and not a light bulb. I think they are perfect. They look nice in the day and flicker prettily all night long. They are definitely as advertised.
