We have had these cubes for about 3 months so far and we use them in one form or another almost every day. The kids use the big cubes with the trays for lunch or dinner and the small cubes are always getting moved from room to room. The small ones are light enough the kids can move them on their own. Perfect for board games and the extra storage is always useful They are really worth the money.

I bought this a few days ago when it was a gold box item and it just came in today. I love it!
I ordered it in the brown and it is even nicer than pictured. Yes, it smelled like some kind of oil initially (even the ones in the store have this smell)but I wiped it down a couple of times (pledge wipes) and it smells fine now.
It is the perfect size for a small living room and the extra seating it provides is so great.
I have one similar to this (except it's just a flip-top storage bench from target) that lost its shape over time because the top layer was made of cheap foam. This one, however, has very small (almost the consistency of sand) beads that will help it keep its shape.
I highly recommend this!

The storage ottoman came yesterday and so far I am very pleased! The package was a little torn and worn out by the time it got to me, but the product was not damaged. There is a smell, but it's just the leather-like material. We're letting ours air out and the smell is already beginning to fade. The storage is great for our puzzles and games, with room to spare. We are looking forward to using all three ottomans for extra seating. The trays definitely come in handy for holding drinks and snacks. Overall, very pleased and would recommend this to anyone.

We bought this ottoman in brown for $85 on a special Friday sale. For the price, they are incredibly high quality. They shipped quickly, as Amazon always does.
In response to the smell that some are noting in their ads, right out of the box, I didn't notice a scent at all, but based on the reviews, I took it out of the plastic that it came in right away, and took the little ottomans out of the big one and kept the lids off and sat it all out for a day. They were in a small room with the door closed all day. When I got home that evening I noticed a scent, due to the treatment of the leather. I then opened the window in that room and left them for a few hours. Since then, no smell is noticeable at all.
All in all, I think they are awesome!

Anybody that says this was a bad deal is probobly a completley unrealistic expectations. I live in a smallish studio downtown and keep it appointed quite nicely. It is furnished with a combo of vintage eames era pieces and some modern ones. Having items that serve as more than one thing is key. This serves three-four purposes. A coffee table, a footrest, extra temporary seating for extra guests or games and a place to eat.
I like clean smooth lines, so I removed the strappy looking handles. After those were gone it has a very sleek look. Of course it is not made of ironwood and thick, supple italian leather. It cost me under 90 bucks delivered, which is almost free considering the price of some of my other furniture/art/etc. Admittedly, I keep things in nice shape and dont abuse items. I cant say that if you have kids all over this or are a drunken frat boy that it will remian a nice piece of furniture, but out of the box it is an exceptional deal and you will have that extremley satisfying feel of money well spent after you enjoy this in your home.
