Amazon.com Review A creation of television celeb chef Rachael Ray, this oval pasta pot takes a new approach to shaping that feels long overdue. Sized to hold 8 quarts, the deep oval pot is space-efficient on the stovetop, while letting you cook spaghetti or linguine without breaking the noodles. Hard-anodized aluminum for durability, the pan heats evenly and quickly, which is great for boiling a big quantity of water. A glass lid contains heat and steam while allowing visibility, and a nonstick interior makes food release and low-fat cooking easier. Surprisingly comfortable to handle, the pot features fun orange handles with silicone coating for heat resistance and a secure grip. Ideal for pasta, the pot is also great for soups and corn on the cob. It is safe in the oven to 400 degrees F, cleans up easily by hand, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. --Emily Bedard

Best pasta pot January 7, 2007 M. Mitchell (CA) 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
I originally bought the 10 piece set and loved it so much that I keep adding on. This is my latest addition and I love it just as much as the rest. The pot is oval so that you don't have to break up your long pasta noodles and it has a pouring spout on the side for easy draining. It's also super easy to clean.
great stockpot March 2, 2007 Mary T. Erickson (Lynnwood, Wa USA) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I love it, love it, love it. I use this all the time. It really gives you room in the pan to move your ingrediants around. It has a great pour spout on the side, and pasta cooks up so much better as it has room to move around in the pan. Clean up is a breeze. The handles have a great grip support that stays cool on the stove.
Why did it take this long? June 6, 2007 Stacey Reynolds (virginia) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Why didn't someone think of this sooner?Oval so that your spaghetti isn't sticking out of the water.Love it. Easy to clean and reasonably priced. Big for a big family.
Great Pot! August 3, 2007 Jan W (Florida USA) 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
This pot is absolutely terrific. It's oval shape does a fantastic job when cooking pasta even in large quantities but also great for sauces, stews etc. Much lighter in weight than I thought and the pour spout on the side makes for easier pouring with little splash. All this and clean up is a breeze as well.
LUV IT! Gr8 size, Gr8 Pot! September 17, 2008 Cowgirl Cook (Southern Illinois, USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Have the 10pc set & wanted this larger size, so snapped it up when the price was reduced. Gr8 quality, luv the oval shape and the handy pour feature. Also bought the oval saute & pleased w/that too. ONE thing to note is that the coating on surface in bottom of pot feels 'rough' compare to the original pans...thought it was a defect but according to Anolon who makes these, it's NOT a defect...they're manufactured on different lines in the plant...just so you know!
