A better concept August 9, 2004 David W. Bates (Shreveport, Louisiana USA) 22 out of 22 found this review helpful
Traditional grill brushes quickly clog with grill funk and the wires bend, thus rendering them useless in a short time. This has a pad that fits any grill, and they can be removed and washed (or replaced). Rated number one grill brush according to America's Test Kitchen.
Nothing gets the flat surface of a grill cleaner... May 10, 2007 Super Dave (Ada, Oklahoma) 18 out of 19 found this review helpful
I use T-Brush and this grill pad cleaner to get a really sparkling grill before and after grilling. I have found that this scouring pad really makes the flat surface of a grill grate sparkle like nothing else. I found the first time I used it that the stainless steel shine came out on grill grates which were black from repeatedly using a flat brass bristle brush. The combination of the two grill cleaners really works on getting both the flat surface of the grill and in between the grates really clean. In retrospect, I guess, what you are really buying is just a handle to hold a scrubbing pad. Not exactly rocket science. But the handle is long and sturdy, and it allows you to clean your grill while it is still hot, which is the best time to remove stubborn grit. If you want to use this device by itself, for the grates on a gas grill, it wont do the job. It only hits the flat surface well. Buy this to supplement the brass bristle grill brush you already have so that you can get the grill sparkling. Then you'll be pleased with the results. It shouldn't be that hard to have a shiny grill, and this kind of brush makes it possible.
Lives up to its promise June 27, 2005 Earl E. A. Dopter (Louisiana) 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
America's Test Kitchen rated it number one, so I decided to try one for myself. I have owned grill brushes from Home Depot, online catalog sellers, etceteras. The bristles, regardless of material, on these brushes end up shedding over time, or if not they crush down and become nearly worthless. The Grill Wizard eliminates these problems by using a replaceable pad. The pad works great. I'm still on my first pad and have used it probably 10 times or more already. It's a good product and I highly recommend it. Update 9/9/07: We just had a big BBQ party for about 75 guests and brought over a second grill to handle the volume. I had three people cooking and they all wanted my Grill Wizard! I continue to use this brush before every grilling. It has held up pretty well considering its heavy usage and inexpensive price. One rivet finally fell out so I'm ordering another one.
Does the job! July 12, 2005 Jennifer Kretschmer (San Jose, Ca USA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
The Grill Wizard grill cleaning brush does the job of cleaning the grill better than any brush I've ever used. Very little muscle is required to clean the grill, especially if you clean after you cook and when the grill is still warm.
Better than Weber brush May 4, 2007 Blaze (Pleasant Hill, CA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
We bought the Weber brush first and it fell apart in a short period of time. We replaced it with the Grill Wizard based upon reviews and have been very happy with our purchase. It cleans well and has held up well. Our product has a wood handle so I don't know if the model has changed.
