This tree stand is just your basic tree turner. No bells, no whistles, no music. It runs noise free and rotates about once every 60 seconds. That is slow enough to let it rotate while adding decorations to the tree. A great time saver. This speed also allows you to put on the lights and when you are ready to take them off you just reverse the direction to the rotating tree. Slick!!! It has an on/off switch and a cord for the tree lights that rotates with the tree. Using an extention cord with an on/off switch eliminates the need to get under the tree to reach the switch. The unit breaks up nicely for storage. The price was the best on the market. Great, sturdy little unit that looks like it will last many Christmas'.
