XP tips October 15, 2006 milk1328 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This was my favorite game as a kid. I learned a lot from it, and I remember it as being fun. Now I'm a teen and I'm testing to see if the game works on Windows XP so I can give the game away (as an AP history student, I've outgrown it). It works witha few modifications. The day you install it, only play 2 cases; the third one freezes. Also, when you have to insert the second disk it tends to freeze. It will save your cases though, so just restart your computer, put in the second disk, and play. As a general rule, I wouldn't play more than about four, possibly five cases at a time. Also ignore the horrible synching, the characters aren't really mouthing the words they're saying.
Best educational game ever! March 17, 2007 Cassandra Cullen (Macungie, PA) 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I got this game when I was in elementary school. Now I am in college and I wanted it again. I learned everything from this game. There were things in high school history class that I learned from this game alone. Even now in college I have to take history core course and I remember all these facts from this game that relate to my course, it's great. Plus it's really fun. Get this game for your kids because you'll never forget it.
Best Game Ever! June 8, 2005 7 out of 8 found this review helpful
Ok, so I'm not really a kid I'm just using the kid's review because it's easier. This is a great game. I played it when I was in elementary and finally won the game in middle school. I learned so much from it. I'm in college and we still discuss things in my history class that I already know because I learned it from this game.

I have owned this game since I was five years old, and I'll tell ya' something: No matter how long Iv'e owned this game, (as long as I don't play it more than seven times a year) I never get sick of it! It's just one of those games that is incredibly fun every time you play it. It is also the perfect length, not too short, but not so long that you get bored. It is a two-disc game, with nine levels on the first disc, and nine on disc two. All of the levels are so different, that you can never get sick of it. Another score is that Amazon offers new, factory-sealed copies of it for VERY low prices. So, since Iv'e owned it for a very long time, take my advice and get your copy of one of the best games ever created. Signed, The Phantom Game Reviewer
Incredible game. July 12, 2007 Alli (USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I absolutely love this game!! I've never really been interested in computer games, but when I received this in elementary school I absolutely loved it. Now being a junior in high school I keep finding myself wanting to play it again! Although, once you've beaten it, you pretty much know how to play the whole game which stinks. If they were to make another game like this, I don't care how old I am, I will buy it! It's incredibly educational, but still really fun and engaging. I absolutely love history so when I showed this to my little brother, who's now about the same age I was when I received it, he was skeptical. However, I got him to play it and now it's one of his favorite games. Parents, get this for your kids! Or if your just a big kid like me who loves history I'd still get it.
