Educational and fun! September 18, 2002 Todd E. Newman (Valparaiso, IN) 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
It's tough finding something for kids to play while not spending a fortune and wasting brain space on senseless games. The Reader Rabbit series are great because they offer great ways to learn while keeping things simple and fun in a cartoon-like format. The software is easy to install and I found that my six year old could easily navigate the program without getting stuck. She sat on it for hours!! I was surprised to see the fun she had with the program and look forward to purchasing further copies.
Reader rabbit math ages 4-6 December 11, 2007 Scamper (Portage WI) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This product is great and delivery was quick as a bunny! My kids love it They are homeschooling so its great practice and a terrific teaching tool. My 5 yr old aspires to be in preschool for life, so if he thinks he's playing AND he learns it's just way easier and faster and less frustrating for all. Its Awesome!!Thanks RR! Respectfully, Mary H.
Reader Rabbit Reading March 20, 2007 L. Thomas (Georgia, USA) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This review is specifically for Reader Rabbit Reading Preschool - 1st Grade. I had ordered Math Adventures, but the Reading one came instead; however, I kept it because my five-year-old daughter is enjoying it. The game is to collect letters to fill in a message. Before each letter can be put into the message, the player must go through several games, which will introduce the child to letter sounds and sight words. It is phonics-based. It probably can't replace reading instruction, but it is a good reinforcement.
Beginning Math Skills Taught Here-Fun!! April 21, 2003 1smileycat (Iowa, United States) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
My 3 yr old doesn't "get it" yet...but my 4 yr old loves it! This game teaches early math skills in a fun way! The kids earn tickets as they get things correct and can "buy" things with their tickets. Not a tough game as you would think -being a "math" one...it is fun! It is worth the money & your kids will enjoy the time they spend on it. 1smileycat :-)
Wonderful game to learn beginning math skills. April 14, 2003 My son who is four loves this game. It uses appropriate level games to drill math skills in a fun way. I love the reader rabbit products, but this is my son's favorite.
