Superb. Lots of Learning Going on. July 6, 2002 apoem (Bosque Farms, NM USA) 54 out of 56 found this review helpful
This is one of the better Reader Rabbit computer games that we have bought for our son, and all of the ones we have bought are good. In other words, I view this one as the top of the top. There are a lot of activities and each one is directed to some part of the learning process. There is matching, language, math, graphing and more. My son who is three really enjoys it. Some of the activities are too hard for him. He will be able to grow into those activities. In the meantime though, there are plenty of things he can do in this program. I think it will be a long time before he gets bored or outgrows this program. There are three levels of play. I like that. It also arranged in such a way that it is easy to navigate the Reader Rabbit "world". My son can find his way very quickly to the activities he likes and back out to the main screen. He even knows how to exit it and turn it off. It is that simple to figure out. Although it is supposed to be a story like game in that you are helping Reader Rabbit and his friends get ready for a surprise birthday, each game can stand alone and be played just for fun. This is a bonus for my son who doesn't quite have the idea that he's working towards a huge end product (the birthday party.) Excellent. Enjoy.
My kids love it :) September 3, 2003 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
My kids are 3 & 4 years old and they love this program. Highly recommend this program for kids who like to play on the computer and like to learn without knowing they are learning :)
Educational and fun! September 18, 2002 Todd E. Newman (Valparaiso, IN) 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
It's tough finding something for kids to play while not spending a fortune and wasting brain space on senseless games. The Reader Rabbit series are great because they offer great ways to learn while keeping things simple and fun in a cartoon-like format. The software is easy to install and I found that my six year old could easily navigate the program without getting stuck. She sat on it for hours!! I was surprised to see the fun she had with the program and look forward to purchasing further copies.
My students love this game January 20, 2004 Kelli (Somewhere out west) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I work in a special education room in an elementary school. The kids in my room love this game. It has good skills on it, like reading, math, science, etc. It is also really fun.
Reader Rabbit 1st Grade November 17, 2008 T. Deal (Baraboo, WI United States) My Grandson loves this! I've always liked the Reader Rabbits series and one again, it did not dissappoint. The math portion is so easy for them to understand, that once you show them how to figure it out, they are off and running. He really enjoys the money portion, making the faces really gets him to giggling and he's learning at the same time.
