MASTERED
Suzana has lost all she held dear. Her family dead at sea, she, a musical mage of noble birth, has been taken by slavers. But then the traders' caravan is overtaken in the Dark Forest by the mysterious raedjour who are determined to take the one thing she still calls her own: her body.
Suzana's capture is cause for celebration amongst the raedjour. Virgins are highly prized, and a tournament is held for the honor of taking her maidenhead. And once it is taken, she will be passed to a different warrior every nine days until she finds her truemate.
From the moment he saw her, Krael knew Suzana was his to conquer. Her soft body incites the lust he's honed over many cycles to pleasure and train women. He'll have her body, but he has no interest in being her truemate...until Krael's king is determined to take her. Only then does Krael grow determined to master her for his very own.
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be used...pleasured...Taken...Mastered?
Publisher's note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Bondage, domination/submission, dubious consent, male/male sexual practices, and multiple partners.

Dark Elves II: Mastered --Joyfully Reviewed! March 29, 2008 Natalie S (Nashville) 11 out of 12 found this review helpful
Caught by slave traders after everyone in her family drowned but her, Suzana is resigned to her new life. When the caravan stops for the night on the outskirts of a Dark Forest, everyone is uneasy because of rumors told about a race of deadly, dark men who leave no one alive when they attack. As she is washing for the night, she notices dark, ebony men separating themselves from the forest and heading towards her. Suzana and her fellow female travelers are placed under a spell and the dark elves attempt to lead the women to their lair. Suzana, however, is able to break the spell, slipping away to run through the forest in an escape attempt. Suddenly, she is hit from behind and falls. The first thing she notices is the shower of long white hair around her. Then she notices the muscles, the lightning tattoo, and the scent of this mysterious man who is now lying on top of her. He slowly kisses her and she doesn't fight back, in fact, she wants him master her immediately. But this intense, immediate attraction is not to be consummated in the forest. The leader of the hunt places Suzana under a spell and she goes to sleep. Krael thinks that any good human is a dead human. He wasn't counting on the woman though. Tiny, violet-eyed, voluptuous, with black hair to her knees, Krael immediately wants her. This confuses him because he is a Prime Warrior! He needs no woman! That is, until he realizes she is a virgin, then Krael knows there will be a tournament for the chance to take her virginity. If he wins, then she will be his for nine days as the law states. Each dark elf is allowed nine days with a woman. If the woman becomes pregnant within that time frame, then they are considered true mated because only true mates can reproduce. Krael knows the odds of Suzana being his true mate are slim, so he sets out to make his nine days truly special. What he doesn't count on is Suzana, the way she loves him, and the way she makes him feel. Having read Dark Elves I: Taken, I anxiously awaited Dark Elves II: Mastered. Jet Mykles does not disappoint with this book. In fact, I read it from beginning to end and couldn't put it down. Well, that isn't true. I had to put it down a couple of times to give myself a chance to cool off. While Dark Elves II: Mastered can be read alone, I would recommend reading Jet Mykles' first Dark Elf Series book, Dark Elves I: Taken, as well. Dark Elves II: Mastered has to be the hottest book I have read in a long time. The elements of suspense kept me on edge. My heart slowly broke when I realized that in order for Suzana to be able to stay with Krael, she would have to be pregnant. Add the element of a crazy king, and my pulse was racing. Of course, it goes without saying that I loved Dark Elves II: Mastered and look forward to reading any and everything written by Jet Mykles! ***Talia Ricci for Joyfully Reviewed***

This book grabbed me from the beginning and did not let go. I was not ready for it to end and can't wait to read the next entry. The characters in this book are so sexy, they leave you panting. I loved the sex scenes they were very titillating. I would not pass up a chance to read this book, it is well worth the time.

ADD THIS BOOK TO YOUR LIST OF BOOKS YOU MUST READ September 4, 2008 Diane Harbourn (australia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
stumbled over this author story line looked interesting and usually find the hype is more than the story .... NOT THIS TIME...... when a book pulls you in from page one and the pace is fast and absorbing the world falls away and you enter the realm of the book you know this is a book that is going to end way to early for your liking. so if you like sex between the pages of a book and you are open minded AND you like otherworld stories please DON'T DENY YOURSELF THIS BOOK . LISTEN NOT TO THE NAYSAYERS believe me honestly i would normally not go for the follow up of the usual in these books however i could not wait to start books 2 and 3 and more to come yipee
