The Rebel Scout Speeder April 4, 2008 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I got this toy about a week ago and I expected a lot worse, but it is GREAT!!! The rebels are cool, but their arms come off easily. The ship is easy to build, and is fun to play with. In order to have a battle though you need the Imperial Drop ship. It can fit four guys (three in the cockpit and one in the turret)and, comes with four guns (two pistols and, two rifles and guys to shoot them). the speeder is a little flimsy though and can come apart easily. It is cool!!!

The Rebel Scout Speeder. September 22, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Hi. Today I will be making a review of the new Lego set, the Rebel Scout speeder. I will rate it either *, **, ***, ****, or *****. Durability: **** The speeder itself is very durable! I dropped it from 5 feet and all of it held together, except the turret, which fell off. Also, the Rebel's helmets don't stay on well, but they're easy to put back on. Fun: ***** This a great set for playing with, but only if you get the Imperial Dropship. (Or the older Imperial Landing Craft). It comes with four new Rebel troopers, which you cannot, I repeat, CANNOT get in any other set. It has four guys, 2 blasters and 2 blaster rifles, (all with holding spots on the sides.), and a speeder with a removable turret on the back. The only bad thing is that you can't fit all 4 guy's in the speeder, you have to have one in the turret. Not a BIG problem though Building Experience: *** This is an okay build, but not great. It's a pretty easy build, only 82 pieces, so I reccommend it for someone 6-11. But no matter what age, it is a good set. Overall: **** and 1/2 It's a very good set, at a VERY affordable price. Though not good alone, it is great with an Imperial Dropship (or Landing Craft)! I would reccommend it to a friend. Happy Building!
we love lego star wars May 29, 2008 ljs (Brooklyn, NY United States) We love lego star wars. My 5 year old boy has been going through project after project. He has a blast, loves doing them, and then flying them around. They are totally fun to build (he is following directions and knocking off the small ones almost by himself now), but they do not hold up as toys. They fall apart with play. You can glue them together if you want to keep them together, but ours fall apart and the pieces go into a box to be rebuilt into a freeform spaceship. Legos are great, any Lego Star Wars is fantastic. These little ones are good starter pieces or very manageable to finish and enjoy the satisfaction of completion! They're all good. Enjoy!
made up EP. 4 May 31, 2008 1st of all, the minifigures are from episode four, but you make the ship up. How cool is that? The turret, witch is pretty cool, comes off. You can have a hidden turret if another peice is tall enough! The blaster pistols are cool. They are like the other set that comes with it(not literally, just goes with it). Wow! Make a hidden part from ep.four! Cool!
