The Magna-Case comes with several parts that are brand new to the world of Magnetix. It includes a silver platform for display purposes, four tall metal poles and adjusting bars of assorted metallic colors. By using the metal poles, kids can suspend their creations in mid-air. Design complicated shapes, planets, or even entire star systems, then hook them and spin them for added fun. This set also comes with the usual Magnetix classic pieces. Magnetic balls can be used as the joints of a structure. Flexors, twisters, bars, lights, and extenders give kids all the options they need to build creative structures. This product comes with 4 strobe lights, which the kids absolutely love! The magnetics are extremely strong making it fun and durable for kids of all ages, including adults! I would highly recommend this product for children over 3 (it has pieces that could be swallowed).

My six year old son absolutely loves his magnetix. He used his birthday money to buy this set. He plays with this toy longer than he has ever played with anything. His older cousins and his younger sisters love it just as much. Also, they seem to share this toy with him more than anything else that they have ever shared. They love everthing about it. I did give up on getting everything back in the case. We just put all of the pieces in a tub and that's easier for everyone.

We bought this for our 8 year old grandsonfor his birthday. He loves it, as does his 4 year old brother. They both have spent hours using their imaginations to build and rebuild. My wife and I were very happy with the results of choosing this product. It gives both of them abundant opportunities to exercise and develop building and construction talents.

My five year old loves to build things, including legos, etc. He is having a blast with this. There are plenty of pieces and he spends a lot of time in creative play. The base is great and adds a great deal to the fun. The lights are an interesting addition as well. We got two light pieces with this set (another reviewer said it comes with four). You can't go wrong with this!

This is the second Magnetix kit we have bought for our five year old son (he wanted colors). He plays for hours with them! It's wonderful to see his imagination come alive with this wonderful toy. I especially love this product because he will probably be able to play with them for years to come. I have a neighbor whose very bright fourteen year old son still plays (at a much more complex level) with Magnetix. You can't ask for a better value.
