Amazon.com Product Description Battle the forces of the Rebellion wherever they hide with the Star Wars Imperial Landing craft. Equipped with twin blaster cannons, bombs, a troop compartment, and firing rockets, this craft will prepare you to face the master of evil. With two cannons that really shoot and levers that pop out bombs, this Lego set provides hours of amusement for junior Stormtroopers, ages 8 through 12. Let the Force be with You Like the Imperial Craft shown in the movies, this airship's wings fold up at the twist of a dial. A pilot, two sandtroopers, and two stormtrooper mini-figures with blasters come included. All of the mini-figures fit into this craft's troop department. With this quality craft there is no limit to the space adventures the child can embark on. With 471 pieces, the set offers a fun-filled building project for both children and their parents. Clear instructions (included) make the construction process easier and clean-up is a breeze by folding up the wings and putting the mini-figures into the troop department. This retro Star Wars Lego set offers an experience that can be enjoyed by children and their parents. Children are captivated by the cannons and bombs, while parents feel nostalgia for the movies. Like many LEGO products, the set is both easy to assemble and durable. Other Lego Star Wars sets are available should the Rebellion get out of control. Overall, this set is a great value for the years of amusement it provides. (But be careful, the Imperial should not be aimed at the eyes or face and it is not intended for children under three years old. What's in the Box 471 pieces, pilot, 2 sandtroopers, and 2 stormtrooper mini-figures with blasters.

Fantanstic ship! May 22, 2007 Susu (Youngstown, Oh) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is a really great ship. My son has six or more star wars lego ships and he likes this one the best. It took us a while to build but the directions were pretty clear. He is 9 and just loves it. It has two cannons that shoot and also two other levers you press and out pops some other bombs.

My 9 year-old son loves this. October 13, 2007 Lego Mom (Oregon, USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I'm quoting my son who says the Imperial Landing Craft is a great set even though there were set-backs while putting it together. Some parts had trouble staying in place and whole sections would drop off as he was working, particularly the top wing and side compartments, though he is an experienced Lego builder. That said, he loves the features. Moving parts work smoothly. The mini-figs are a nice addition to his collection. And now that it's together, it seems fairly durable. He agrees with the other reviewer--go out and buy it!
Awesome Kit January 8, 2008 E. Peck (Orlando, FL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My son received this as a Christmas present. It is his first regular lego kit. Up until now he has been using the larger blocks. We had a great time putting it together. It is a little tricky and I ended up doing a lot of the work. He is 4 and it was still a little difficult for him to be patient and work through the instructions. As we finished each component he got more and more excited. When it was done he just loved it. Of course it wasn't long before he started 'breaking' it. I put it together a few times, then we just tore it apart. Then we started the real fun of creating our own ships and other things. His birthday isn't far away and he is already asking for more lego kits. This is a really great toy. Oh - and I rated this well on education too because it involves some really cool stuff with gears and levers. We took the time to look at how it went together and why it worked. Very neat stuff. Even with all the pieces lego didn't have when I was a kid and the movie theme, this is still great for creative play.
Christmas gift for my son January 12, 2008 Tracie Cooper (Georgia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was one of the few things my 12 yr old son asked for. He has thoroughly enjoyed setting it up and playing strategy games with it and his other legos. He loves working with his hands and it keeps him away from the video games.
