I got this for my 2 year old nephew, but my 4 year old daughter loves playing with it. At this price I'm getting a second one.

My autistic son is 4 and in Pre-school this is one of his favorite toys ever there!!! and iam planning on getting this for him for christmas, just to put the chickens on top and watch them wind to the bottom, he thinks its the greatest thing.. he has learned alot from this game. from communication, to saying Chicken!!! and thats a big accomplishment! he will jump up and down with so much excitment.., i do see where it MiGHT get borning for some kids but it depends on the age of your child and who your child is and what your child likes! i do reccomend this game..

The first toy that arrived had a defective brown chicken (lopsided), so that essentially the white chicken won every race and how fun is that? But both chickens were functional in the replacement set and the kids (ages three and five)had a lot of fun with it the first week or so, but of course since there's nothing to do with it except race the chickens the appeal quickly dimmed. However, as I purchased it at a reduced price and since they do haul it back out occasionally, I am satisfied with it -- basically it's just a silly sort of toy that's fun, but not worth the non-sale price.

For some reason I thought this was such a great toy, but then I gave it to my kids... they were very quickly bored with it. Its loud and annoying and sets off at the slightest touch. I wish the chickens were bigger. We lost the brown chicken within the first day. Although it is durable, it could have been better made. Cute idea but I'm not very impressed. My kids havent touched it in months.

I bought this toy for my 2 yr old. She hardly ever plays with it. If you are easily annoyed with toy noises this one will drive you crazy! It will start at the slightest nudge. The little chickens are small and easy to get lost
