My 2-year-old daugher loves it July 7, 2008 JAR (Ramstein AB, Germany) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My daughter received this as a gift for her second birthday. It comes with 3 cartridges of stickers that eject like a polaraid every time she take a picture. Of course, it makes a mess, but it did take her a while to realize that they were stickers, so we just kept putting the stickers back into the cartridges and let her reuse them. Once she realized they were stickers, they were stuck everywhere, and I wondered what to do with the now-empty cartridges. I managed to find a few of the unused stickers and peeled, then stuck them to the inside of the cartridges. Now we have 3 Dora picture cartridges and no polaroids all over the floor. My daughter likes it even better and I don't have a mess to clean up!
Fun Toy for a Camera Loving Kid September 23, 2008 E (South Africa) This is a fun toy for a kid infatuated with cameras. My daughter plays with the camera a lot but I can see her potential for getting bored with it too. The sound effects are okay ("say cheese" for example) and may actually help your child be more patient and stay still when you try to take their picture on a real camera since they learn the process of picture taking, e.g., it takes some time to take a picture. The only downside is that you, as a parent, will spend a lot of time reloading the "pictures" into the cartridges after your child has taken all the "pictures". I'm also not sure if your child peels all the stickers off if you can buy more "pictures" to reload in the camera.
