Amazon.com Product Description Depending on where you live-and depending on where you keep the crystal-you may be in need of Quakehold!'s museum gel. Here's how it works: simply pinch off a bit of the non-toxic gel and adhere it to the bottom of the object you want to secure, then place it on the shelf. The gel will hold it fast in the event of an earthquake. If you ever want to move the object to another location, simply twist and pull to separate it from the shelf. The gell is fully reusable, and it doesn't leave marks on wood or other materials.--Josh DettweilerWhat's in the Box Four-ounce jar
Product Description Clear Quakehold / Museum Gel is the ultimate product for securing your see-through glass and crystal items. Simply form small balls and place evenly underneath the object and press into place. Clear Gel takes 30-60 minutes for a complete adherence and is completely removable and reusable. Protection is at its best not only from earthquakes but playful children, accidental bumping, housekeepers and cats. Clear Gel is an outstanding product for securing see-through glass and crystal objects. Perfect on glass shelves... it's so clear you won't even know it's underneath. The gel qualities include: A clear bond that holds tight, instant removal, non-toxic, clean to the touch and reusable too. A little goes a long way! One jar can secure 300 items!

Great for renters March 9, 2007 R. Madison (northeast US) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This gel is good stuff for renters who don't want to affix items permanently but want to do some creative things - for example, our bathroom sink was missing the decorative caps on the top of the faucet handles - I used the Museum Gel to hold two vintage glass marbles there - whimsical & removable! Have used it for several other like items.
Works great! May 2, 2007 D. May (San Marcos, CA United States) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Really interesting how this product sticks my vases and valuable glasses down. I can't hardly see it. I know it said not for use on wood but I have a piano with a very thick finish and it worked just fine and came off completely. Overall, I am impressed that it sticks so well and I can't see it underneath.
Great Stuff! November 30, 2007 Irma V. (Miami Beach, FL) Works just like the product says, not sticky and dries clear. It has a little give so you can remove the item later, however once it settles the item stays in place. Using too much makes it seep out, but cleanup is a breeze. I used it for porcelain figurines on glass shelves.
Quakehold is great December 1, 2007 Cathyski (Detroit, MI) Clear Museum gel is ideal for holding glass items firmly but not permanently. We used it to adhere tall vases to mirrors to ensure they would remain secure for a wedding. After the wedding a simple twist released the vases and the gel easily came off the mirrors.
museum gel April 5, 2008 Christine S. Westcoat (pompano beach, florida) i have purchased this product before and have been very satisfied with the results. the gel holds precious items that would have otherwise ended up on the floor as i have cats that like to knock things off shelves. even after being on an item for years, it will easily come off with a spackle knife. i highly recommend this product to anyone who has small children and/or animals that can knock expensive items off table tops, etc.
