Spot-X Hard Water Stain & Spot Remover cleans stubborn stains from your vehicle or household glass. Whether the water stains are caused by acid rain, salt water, road grime, sprinklers or well water, Spot X Glass Cleaner will work, we guarantee it. While SpotX cannot be used on auto paint it will not harm the paint if it gets on it. Simply rinse off with water. Household windows are just as easy. Please note it is very important to use the non-scratch pads that come with the Spot-X. All OTHER pads have a grit in the glue that binds the fibers and will scratch glass. Our pads were specifically made for this product. Spot-X CANNOT scratch glass. It is just below glass on the Moh's Hardness Scale.

The mineral stains and water spots were so bad on my auto glass, I thought i'd have to replace the glass. I tried everything to remove the spots, vinegar, polish, nothing I tried worked.
I went out with spot-x ready to go to work and not expecting too much... and bam!
The spots came right off and my auto glass was restored to crystal clear clarity!!
If you have the same problem as I had, don't hesitate, this stuff works!

In one word, this product is AWESOME. I, too, was skeptical. We built our dream house the summer of 2005. In the master bath, I have a 8' X 8' shower that has two sides that are seamless glass. I tried from the very beginning to keep the glass spot free of hard water stains. I had used straight vinegar, Lime Away, CLR, etc. Nothing seemed to work. The vinegar worked somewhat but it would not remove the really deep hard water stains. I searched the web and bought a product that was guaranteed to work. Well, guess what? It didn't! I thought I would search Amazon.com and see what they would have. Well, all I can say is that this product worked beyond expectation. It took me less than an hour to have my shower looking brand new again. I'm going to buy a case of this stuff just to keep it on hand. My fear is that the manufacturer will quit making it. Buy it - you won't be disappointed!

Ok, I never write reviews but in this case I have to write one. My windows had spots that neither vinegar/water, windex, nor spot removal from Wal-Mart, Target, and Home Depot could eliminate. After reading the reviews on this site, I skeptically shelled out my $15 to get Spot-X. Even upon its arrival, I was doubtful that this powder would work. Well, I put some on a sponge, wetted it and started rubbing onto the glass. Less than 10 minutes later, all my windows were spot free. I'm telling you, don't waste anymore time using anything else; this stuff really works!

Our white Eddie Bauer Explorer has the factory dark tinted windows. The water spots were very noticable. You could feel them with your fingernails. I tried to remove them with a few other products with no success. I talked to a few detail shops about removing them, but didn't want them using their combination acid/compounding techniques to remove the water spots. One of the custom graphics/window tinting shops we visited declined to do the work, but recomended Spot-X. I did not experience the 10 minute miracle that some of the other reviewers did. However after about 1-1/2 hours of work, the glass was absolutely sparkling clean. Most of the glass required 2-3 applications (you polish the spots off) to be really nice. When applying the final application, I scrubbed with straight strokes (rather than circular) to give the glass a finished look. I highly recomended this product.

I was looking for an easy-to-use product to help clean several items in my household such as my shower doors, mirrors, tea and coffee pots, etc. Even though the items had minor staining, I couldn't find any product to remove them.
Not only does this product really work as the other reviewers have commented, but it's completely odorless, non-toxic, and not messy like some liquid products. I cleaned my shower door in less than 5 minutes, with one application and without the use of gloves. I didn't even have to rinse the glass when done; I simply wiped off the polish with a clean paper towel. It left the shower streak-free, crystal clear, better than any glass cleaner I've ever used. I also purchased rain-x to help stop the stains from reappearing, but now, that seems completely unnecessary thanks to this product!
FYI: The product ships with two of their special buffer pads and a detailed set of instructions. Thanks for making a product that surpassed my expectations even after reading these stellar reviews!
