These brushes are the best in the world! Yes they're way expensive, but they last for a long time (I've had mine since 1990), and when it comes to fine, often-tangly five-year-old-girl hair, this seems to be the only one firm enough to get the tangles out but soft enough that it doesn't hurt. If you've got a child who runs the other way as soon as she sees you holding a hairbrush or yowls like a scalded cat when you try to get a tangle out, this brush is a very worthwhile investment.
