good but not for short straight hair August 9, 2008

Helen of Troy is the best. I had one of these, but a different kind. Couldn't find another one at first (I had worn out my first one after about 10 years), so bought this one. It is too big and the bristles don't grab short straight hair. BUT it is an excellent product, and I would recommend it for other types of hair. I ended up buying a different one that is 3/4" and has plastic "bristles" - excellent for short hair (Helen of Troy Hot Air Brush Regular 3/4' Tangle Free #1579R). The lock and release feature makes it possible for people like me who cannot do their hair very well to actually do a good job. Helen of Troy simply meets all kinds of hair needs.
